Portal Rescue Thanks Everyone Who Supported the 2023 “Chili’s On” Benefit Dinner

Everyone Helped Raise Approximately $7500.

You read the title correctly. After many years of holding our annual Soup Kitchen (later named Soup’s On) in the Portal Rescue Classroom, this outstanding fund raiser for Portal Rescue was both renamed (Chili’s On) and relocated to the Rodeo Community Center. Neither the new title or location stopped the crowd from filling the room. Several kinds of chili, fresh homemade bread and tantalizing desserts: all creating a delightful culinary atmosphere that made the dinner a success.

Some people are hoping that maybe, just maybe, one year’s Fund Raising dinner will be called Burger’s On.
